What Vanguard really is.
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, also called a MMORPG
or just MMO. These types of games are unique in several ways. 1) They are only playable over the internet. 2) Hundreds of
thousands of characters can all play at the same time in exciting virtual worlds. 3) Real people control most of these characters
in the game and can communicate with each other to achieve common goals or just to chat – even if the actual people
live in countries on opposite sides of the real world.
